[Story] A blue poppy

Journal Entry: Sun Aug 14, 2005, 5:54 AM

Quote of the moment : (the past quotes are here)

« Love is something that is new, fresh, alive. It has no yesterday and no tomorrow. It is only innocent mind which knows what love is, and the innocent mind can live in the world which is not innocent. To find this extraordinary thing is only possible when thought comes to understand itself and comes naturally to an end. »

Jiddu Krishnamurti (Thanks to =steph9668 for this sharing... :cuddle:)

I wrote that in french at first and you can find the original text here ! ;p

A blue poppyOnce upon one time, only one time, there was Lohey, one of the human beings on the planet "Reason". One day, he had gone walking to the hollow of a wonderful valley. The surrounding mountains were still orange to have contemplated the raising sun. The ground presented at the new light the dew to be sublimated.

Lohey was experiencing this day as if it was the first ever ! Life was embracing him and imbracing him; colors, odors and movements were filling his receptive vacuity. He was experiencing that separation between void and full was a sight of the mind.

After the take-off of a blossomed ladybird, he got called by a poppy with sharp and surprising blue. He wrinkled the eyebrows as for cleaning his view from an illusion. He approached, observed, touched. The poppy was blue!

A few days later, Lohey had carried his presence among other human beings. The opportunity came to testify to the blue poppy. He testified.

Then he listened to the multiple reactions, evoking what he had experienced. Each one or almost had an opinion on the subject: scientifical, ethical, moral, human, subjective, objective, traditional, modern, religious ...etc. In all the ways, a blue poppy, it was impossible! And, hopefully, there was, accessible by the memories, many explanations to justify this impossibility. The place got filled quickly by concepts, beliefs, fears, resistances. If what Lohey said was true, then many ideas were called in questions. Fortunately, it was impossible; there were many words which had been transmitted, sometimes even, by famous people, and all of them cancelled this assumption. So, fortunately, this was inevitably false!

Lohey wrote on the paper in front of him: "The separation between true and false draws the edges of a specific paradigm! ". He did not mean to say the truth, he did not mean being right. Simply he testified to his experience! Many answered to what they thought of being Lohey's ideas, but they were just answering to themselves. Nobody asked him any question, at least to know.

He had been listening to everyone, he had been listening to him listening everyone, respectful, with love. He did not want it, he noticed it. He liked that, then he smiled. He had been listening to his own inner reactions and his own phantasms: "They think that I am pretentious, proud or that I think I am better or that I create my own memories! ". He didn't grant a value to his own thoughts, he simply got conscious of them and gave them no other energy.

Lohey wrote on the paper in front of him: "Humility does not consist in putting myself at the bottom or in the only middle of a hierarchy between the human beings. Humility expresses the awareness that this hierarchy does not exist! ". Beyond the reactions, he looked at each one; they all were extraordinary! He did not want it, He noticed it. He liked that, then he smiled.

A few days later, Lohey had received many reactions. He had also shared some actions, very barely.

One morning that he didn't succeed in living as if it was the first ever, he doubted of the blue poppy. Then he got back walking in the wonderful valley. While going, he remembered that none of those reactive persons had never even asked him where was the blue poppy, to go and check by themself. Just using their mind seemed sufficient and reassuring to them... without any consciousness that a human experience was thus denied.

He judged a bit this people. He came aware of that, then he knew he was just hurt, and did not stick to his thoughts. Consequently, they got dissipated...

He went straight where he had discovered the incredible flower. But it was not there any more! There were nothing but red poppys, everywhere around him! Innumerable hopelessly red poppys!

He wrinkled the eyebrows as for cleaning his view from the illusion of his despair and immediately stopped seeking to got a result. He finished to made himself got and made himself be. He breathed slowly. Around him and in him, he perceived the nature whose his thoughts had blocked perception before. At the moment when he perceived it new, he burst of laughing and shouted to the sky a powerful and liberating scream!

He smiled and sat down among the flowers. The narcissus were red. All the narcissus were large and red!

In front of him, he found a book, took it, opened it and read: "There is a thing, only one, for which the human beings seem to sacrify everything. They sacrify love, peace, health, harmony and happiness, safety and even their mental balance, for this only and single thing: Being right."

That is so beautiful and true. I love your writing style, and your ideas. And sadly, I know that you have identified the biggest obstacle to my own happiness, and also the biggest obstacle to the happiness of the girl that I love. If only knowing the problem was equal to solving it.

I guess it's the obstacle of the all world that we have created ! And it's time to change it ! ;) It begins in our personal lives...

Knowing the consequences of a trouble is not knowing its causes ! You can change if you know and change the causes. If you call "problem" only the consequences of an inner conflict... that's not usefull ! I have no doubt about that... :smooch:

Your comment is very touching ! I wanna thank you deeply for have shared that here ! :thanks: I didn't think I'll receive such attention and I didn't think this will talk so much to someone... and the fact that this someone is you is touching me much more...

I wish you'll find your way, this girl too.. and I wish it will be the same... ;)

Love

:)

Well I don't know about that... dc: It's so hard for me to have a point... as it's like I have no idea about how this text is actually telling something... It's total jump in the void ! I don't know if it sounds stupid or clever or childish or... well... cute (c;... etc. I know the essence... but I'm totally lost in that form, in english...

Don't get mistaken ! I love that ! (c: The unknown and the void is something I do very often ! It's the most beautifull way in life.... I used to be so affraid of unknown and void before....

But we all take a void paper to draw... To create, we all choose void ! So to create my life, I do the same ! ;)
